ASSIGNORS & OPERATIONS

Mid-Atlantic Soccer Officials (MASO) was established in 2012. MASO currently assigns:

• NCAA Men's and Women's Soccer for two (2) Division II conferences and seven (7) Division III conferences
• NIRSA College Club for seven (7) universities/colleges in the Philadelphia, PA area.
• US Soccer leagues within Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

MASO strives to have a continuous focus on identifying and developing referees for the purposes of providing the best service possible to our conferences and leagues. Our referee identification and development efforts will include:
 

• Working with the conference member institutions and other institutions that we service to conduct identification, training clinics and other development opportunities.
• Attending NCAA, NISOA and US Soccer Referee and Referee Coach Training Seminars to expand our network of top referees, referee coaches and administrators. 
• Continued focus on coordinating officials for NIRSA (College Club) soccer matches for various colleges throughout the region. We use these matches as a vehicle to give up and coming referees experience at the intercollegiate level. These matches are great to use for identification purposes with match assessors in attendance.
• Working closely with the National Assignors for US Soccer to identify officials for work at the collegiate level.
• Coordinating officials for US Soccer leagues and competitions in the spring and summer which serve as continued referee development opportunities for our collegiate officials.
• Attending spring and summer US Soccer competitions for the purposes of identifying new officials for consideration for assignment at the collegiate level.
• Working with local US Soccer State Referee Associations and High School Referee Associations to increase the pool of referees.
