2026 MASO Membership Registration is now closed. The below instructions are now only for NEW OFFICIALS that are joining MASO.
2026 MASO Membership Registration:
INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP #1: Login to RQ+
STEP #2: Click on your profile picture in the top right corner, then select Registration.
STEP #3: Scroll to Other RQ Account Registration and select MASO (DO NOT SELECT NCAA/NAIA)
STEP #4: Select Officials under Role, then fill out your information and proceed to payment.
Effective 2026, NCAA/NISOA MASO Officials will be required to pay a yearly membership fee in the beginning of each year. Membership will be $50.00 and will be paid on RQ+ Registration.
This registration membership fee is for Officials who are NISOA certified/officiate NCAA matches in MASO. If you’re only certified for US Soccer matches in MASO, you will not have to pay the membership fee. If you are one of these officials, MASO will not show up under RQ+ registration.
NOTE: This membership fee is different than your NISOA and NCAA registration fees. This fee is to be apart of MASO assignment pool to receive NCAA matches.
membership information:
MASO has historically not charged a membership fee. As the scope and complexity of NCAA assigning has grown, we are formalizing membership to ensure we can continue to operate professionally, consistently, and in alignment with NCAA expectations.
The annual fee helps support the administrative, communication, and coordination work required to manage NCAA assignments and maintain a high-quality officiating pool. The fee is intentionally modest and represents a fraction of a single game assignment.
Additionally, MASO Membership will include:
Eligibility for NCAA MASO assignments (only active MASO members in good standing are eligible to receive NCAA MASO assignments).
MASO Badges
Advisor/Assessor observation/assessment fees (MASO does not charge and will continue not to charge officials a separate fee for observations/assessments)
A new Referee Coach Program that will launch for the Fall 2026 Season
NOTE: Current Officials who successfully pay the membership fee will receive their MASO badges in the mail in the spring. Communication to officials will be sent via email once badges are mailed. If you received a MASO badge for the 2025 conference playoffs, you will not receive another one.
