HOW TO BECOME US SOCCER CERTIFIED WITH MASO:

STEP #1. Become USSF Certified through your state

Follow the instructions on becoming USSF certified through the state you currently reside in. Each state is different and follows separate processes.

Eastern PA (EPSARC) - Referee Information
New Jersey (NJSRC) - Referee Information
New York (NYSRA) - Referee Information
Delaware (DSRA) - Referee Information
Maryland (MSR) - Referee Information

STEP #2. Join the MASO Group

To be eligible/added to US Soccer matches that MASO assigns, please Venmo $25 to:

STEP #3. Uniforms

There are several brands that are selling the US Soccer referee uniforms but MASO suggests purchasing through one of the following suppliers:

It is recommended that you at least have 3 short sleeved and 3 long sleeved jerseys (popular colors include yellow, green, black).
Blue, Red and Pink are optional but highly recommended to purchase once you start officiating a lot of matches.
1 pair of black shorts (USSF logo)
1 pair of 2-striped black socks (USSF logos)

If you are in need of warmups or polo, you may purchase warm up gear from the following suppliers:

IMPORTANT: You will NOT wear the short-sleeve uniform with a long sleeve shirt/under armor exposed. Remember, club coaches are taking note of appearances and are providing feedback to MASO throughout the season. When you take the field, you are representing MASO. If we find out officials are improperly wearing the uniform, we will remove you from games.
